Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) derived from Regenerated Cellulose
Acts as a stabilizing, thickening and suspending agent. Once in contact with the bleeding site, it quickly absorbs water contents of exudates, it forms a gelatinous mass that fills wound voids, seals capillary ends and, thereby, stops bleeding fast & effectively.
Once in contact with the bleeding site:
- Clinically proven reduced blood coagulation time
- Neutral pH 7.0, hence no burning sensation
- Biocompatible
- Non-irritating
- Bacteriostatic properties
